A tidier changelog
Browse a shorter release history page and open only the details you need.
Changelog
- Release history is split into pages of five updates, with newer and older navigation and a jump-to-version selector.
- Release descriptions and change lists can be collapsed. The current release opens by default; older releases start closed.
- Expand all and Collapse all work on the current page. Direct release links open the selected version and its details.
- The small version link beside the site name no longer has an underline.
Clearer server names and search within the site
Anime playback controls use numbered servers, and the fallback video search stays on yTube.SITE.
Anime
- Player buttons, loaded-player labels and status messages now use Server 1, Server 2 and Server 3 in the existing playback order.
- The empty episode-list search link now opens this site’s video search in the same tab, with the anime title filled in, instead of sending visitors to YouTube.
Keep working VidNest playback open
Removes the startup timeout that could interrupt a working VidNest video.
Anime
- VidNest no longer switches merely because playback messages are missing or delayed. The three-second countdown and Keep VidNest control have been removed.
- The next-player button remains available for errors shown inside VidNest. Automatic startup fallback only occurs if the browser delivers an iframe load-error event before valid readiness or playback has been reported.
- Late iframe load errors no longer replace a player that has already reported valid readiness or playback. Cinextream retains its existing fallback after a reported terminal failure.
- Silent provider failures cannot be distinguished reliably from silent working playback, so they require the viewer to choose Try Vidrift instead.
Faster VidNest fallback
VidNest now has a three-second startup window before trying Vidrift.
Anime
- The VidNest startup countdown is reduced from 30 seconds to 3 seconds and updates every second.
- Confirmed playback, a reported pause or Keep VidNest still cancels the switch. Hidden tabs and offline time do not count toward the delay.
- This remains a startup timeout, so a slow-loading or silent player may be skipped even when a stream is available.
Automatic recovery from a stalled VidNest start
VidNest can now hand over to Vidrift automatically when startup remains unconfirmed.
Anime
- If VidNest has not confirmed playback after 30 seconds, the same loaded episode opens in Vidrift automatically. Episodes without a clear Vidrift mapping go to the YouTube options.
- A visible countdown and Keep VidNest button let you wait longer. Verified playback, pause or seek events cancel the startup switch.
- The countdown pauses while the page is hidden or the device is offline. Closing, reloading, switching providers or pressing Play for a new selection cancels the old countdown.
- This is a startup timeout, not a confirmed availability check: an unusually slow or silent player can also trigger it. Once playback is confirmed, later problems still have the manual next-player option.
